Victoria stab death police arrest 20 teenagers

Police have arrested 20 teenagers in connection with the stabbing of a boy at London’s Victoria Station. [26 March 2010]

The boy, a 15-year-old from west London, was fatally attacked during evening rush hour on Wednesday 25 March. He is described as being of north African descent.

Reckless act of violence

Tube workers who witnessed the attack in the station’s ticket hall said those involved were wearing school uniforms. All those arrested were aged between 14 and 17.

Det Supt Ashley Croft said: “This was a reckless act of violence that has resulted in a teenager tragically losing his life and our thoughts are with his family at this time.”
