Birmingham’s Big John YouTube riddim smashes Jamaica
Following the infamous Ricky Trooper video ‘YouChube’, Birmingham’s hot Dancehall DJ created the YouTube riddim which was recently played on Jamaican radio and was pulled up 43 times straight! “43 times – Reload and come again!”

A dancehall DJ stemming from Winson Green Birmingham has got an underground dancehall hit in Jamaica. Big John joined Chioce FM in Birmingham in the early 90’s and brought dancehall to the mainstream masses through legal commercial radio. He went on to host Birmingham’s number one reggae show on Galaxy 102.2fm and then left there to pursue his own business ventures.
