Beyoncé new track – Run the world

Have a listen to Beyoncé’s new track off the forthcoming album due for release in June 2011.

The track had to be brought forward after it was leaked on the internet late last week.

A trailer for the music video has been posted on her website with the full recording to be released in due course.

In a message to guys everywhere, Beyoncé warns that she is not prepared to take any rubbish or disrespect. Girls run dis ting (so she says!??!!), and the track lets fellas now dis!

The riddim of the track you would have heard before, it strongly samples Major Lazer’s electronic dancehall riddim ‘Pon de Floor’ [ladies get in line, let me see your s s y!]

Beyoncé co-wrote the track with The-Dream and produced it herself, along with Switch and Shea Taylor.

‘It’ll be big, it’ll probably be one of the bigger Beyoncé music videos ever done. And, I can say that I think the song is unbelievable,’ promised the video’s director Francis Lawrence.

The track is now available to buy from iTunes.

Beyoncé is also following in the footsteps of her hubby taking centre stage at this year’s Glastonbury Festival. But can she smash it the same way Jay did?????????
