Supatrax workshops and courses
Supatrax Learning and Development
Tailored to the learner
Our courses not only focus on the arts and getting the participants to explore their creative skills and push boundaries - but they are also able to challenge stereotypes, behavioural issues, supporting personal development and career progression. Our courses are aimed to meet the individuals needs as the young people work at their own pace creating an evidence based portfolio for accreditation.
Accredited Learning
Supatrax courses helps you to deliver both 'Every Child Matters' and 'Youth Matters' and offers a useful measure of success. The courses provide an accessible framework for personal and creative development tailored to the individual. The courses are flexible and can be adapted to work in schools, youth projects and community settings.
Upon completion young people are awarded with a Nationally recognised award accredited via Trinity College London.
Work Experience
Supatrax and Sticky Radio is also an outlet for young people to get involved and further their career. We are able to offer industry standard work experience in web design, photography, video production, graphic design, journalism and other areas. This will not only look good on their CV, but will also look good with their friends too.
Previous Supatrax team members have gone on to work for MTV, get BA(Hons)’s, enrol on university courses, set up magazines and photograph professionally.
How we work
Supatrax's core target for learning and development is young people who are not in employment, education or training, and who have had negative learning experiences in mainstream education. Supatrax aims to provide more enjoyable learning experiences through a unique combination of informal learning styles, non-traditional subjects (such as Music Production, Radio and Video Production), and industry leader master-classes (introducing them to well known people in the chosen field of learning).
Supatrax is an on-line magazine that is able to showcase the work of all participants and give them an industry standard platform to showcase their work, that is viewed by thousands. Supatrax also has an online radio station (Sticky Radio) which is able to give live radio experience to learners.
