Bruno Mars is as High as His Number 1 Single?

acebt3-100x100Rising R&B star Bruno Mars was officially charged with cocaine possession yesterday as his single, "Just the way you are", rocketed to number 1 on the billboard hot 100.

The singer and songwriter, who delivered the hook for B.O.B's number one record "Nothing on you", was arrested last month in Last Vegas after a bathroom attendant at the Hard Rock Hotel told the cops he saw the musician "sneaking a bag of white powdery stuff into the toilets."

Bruno now faces a sentence of up to 4 years. However, Mr Mars' representatives are hoping that due to his clean record the court will settle for a fine of up to £5,000 if he is found guilty.

The Billionaire singer has been bailed until 18th November when he is due to next appear in court.

A spokesperson from his record label, said: "We congratulate Bruno Mars on his chart topping success, and provide him with our full love and support."
