Facebook memorial for girl murdered in East London

A Facebook memorial page has been set up after the killing of Agnes Sina-Inakoju, a teeenage girl in East London last Wednesday as she waiting for chips with her friends in a food outlet.

Her killers shot into the ship through the window as they rode past on mountain bikes. It is belived that the shots were meant for people that were also in the shop, as part of an on-going gang war in the area.

Nickeisha Rose-Rookwood left a message reading:

"I never knew you but you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I hope one day they will be able to smile again until that time stay strong. the perpetrators of this senseless crime will be found and they will have to answer for their crimes."

It is clear that the murder has touched a number of people as there were nearly 6,000 members in the group today. The Facebook page has a number of heart felt messages, but there are also mindless racist idiots that are posting disrespectful messages. It was good to see that a woman write a message to address the silly messages. Margaret Bromfield write:

"Unfortunately in this world there are alot of people whos heart is filled with anger (comment above) but to feed of it is what they feed off so let us not diverse from the person who we are on this page for the BEAUTIFUL AND LOVELY BEING AGNES WHO WAS TAKEN FROM US SO SUDDENLY, MAY WE REMEMBER HER SMILE AND HER HUMOUR AND THE JOKES SHE GAVE TO US ... AND MAY WE HOLD THOSE MEMORIES IN OUR HEARTS FOREVER....R.I.P AGNES SINA.....Gone But Not Forgotten.....Who Is Now Another Shining Star Shining So Bright For Us To See....xx"

A boy of 16 and a man of 21 were being quizzed yesterday over the murder of schoolgirl Agnes who was due to take her GCSEs.

Her mother Safura said from the family home on the De Beauvoir estate in Hoxton, East London: "I wasn't there with my daughter when it happened.

"It's so hard. All I hope is the police catch them. I want people to come forward with information."

The Met's Operation Trident, which tackles gun crime in London's black community, is investigating. Anyone with information should call their incident room on 0208 733 4704 or contact Crimestoppers free of charge on 0800 555 111.
