Efforts to unite the members from two beefing Birmingham areas, following Jordan Sargeant's tragic murder, have failed, after a war of words was exchanged on Facebook.

Mr Sargeant was assaulted in Quinton two weeks ago and died in hospital on the 18^th March after spending three days in a coma.

The legal high, which has been linked to up to 25 deaths in England and Scotland, will be banned and made a Class B drug - in the same category as cannabis. A ban on importing the drug will come into force today.

A  woman has been charged with possession of a firearm after a loaded machine gun was discovered in a police raid in Wolverhampton.

A man has died after the car he was travelling in car crashed into a lamp post and overturned on Dudley Road, Winson Green, Birmingham on Saturday morning approx 5am.

Four men who have not yet been identified, but were understood to be in their twenties, were taken to nearby City Hospital or Selly Oak hospital Trauma unit for treatment.

A man is fighting for his life after being stabbed in the chest in Smethwick.

The victim, 21, was attacked outside Vibe nightclub in Smethwick in the early hours last night.
